After the intensive chemical cleaning the engine interior is ideally prepared to repair the existing traces of wear. To do this the surfaces are furnished with a tough sealing layer.
One component of the sealing stage is an exclusive concentrate that is also used in the aerospace industry and is activated by the operating temperature of the engine oil. Polar reaction causes the agent to be attracted to the hot metal surfaces inside the engine; it is particularly attracted to uneven metal surfaces. The greatest heat arises at those points in the engine that are subject to the greatest friction. This maximises the effectiveness of the hydrodynamic lubricant, especially in the area of high material loading, such as the piston rings, for example. The engine receives optimal, long-lasting protection.
